The strum of a guitar echoes across the ground as the crowd watches the stage. People scan the booths selling food and other items suitable for any age.
The Autmus Fest went off with a bang as 14 bands took the stage and wowed the patrons with their different styles, but it wasn’t the big-name bands that put on the best show.
I was more inspired by Dean Seltzer, who not only performed amazing music but also created a fire-breathing spectacle on stage.
Plus, L.A. Guns was extremely friendly and happy to be around such an energetic group.
The music was only one of the many events worth enjoying. The food was another attraction worth savoring. Booths were flooded with BBQ Ribs, turkey legs, various Mexican cuisines, and many drinks.
The main lure was the BBQ Ribs, whose stand won a trip to Las Vegas for having the best sales. The ribs were a bit overcooked, but spicy and flavorful. The sauce was the real winner.
Overall, the night was memorable thanks to the company I kept and the exciting entertainment. I look forward to next year’s Autmus Fest.
