Editor says…good luck on finals & happy holidays

Hi everyone. Finals are among us. Good luck to everyone. I hope you enjoy the well-deserved holiday break. If you are graduating, congratulations. The world is filled with endless possibilities within your reach. All you have to do is want it and go for it.I want to remind everyone to have a safe holiday break. If you’re traveling, be cautious on the road. If you’re going to drink alcoholic beverages, have a designated driver. You can’t take back your actions if an accident happens. It’s okay to let loose sometimes, but be wary of your actions and their consequences. Be careful and have safe fun. It’s been one crazy semester for me and, more than likely, it’s been the same for the vast majority of you all as well. As far as being the new editor, it’s had its fair share of challenges and obstacles. It’s more difficult than it appears to make The Bridge a newspaper that people want to pick up, read, and enjoy. It’s been a joyful experience overall, and I look forward to working on it with each of you on the staff next semester. It’s in part to the great staff that The Bridge is published. Thanks, you guys, for your hard work. I know it’s difficult to work on editing articles, taking photographs, writing articles, and doing other things while you have your studies, jobs, and personal lives.Hopefully all of us on campus will take advantage of the approaching new year and see it as a fresh start.I hope everyone enjoys the holiday break. Have a safe one. Congrats to graduates and to returning students, we’ll see you next semester.Happy holidays.-Jennifer Torres
