Why did you choose to pursue an education at Texas A&M International?”I chose TAMIU because it was close to home and close to my family. It’s a good place to get your degree and since it’s an international school, you get to learn about different cultures and meet new people.”
Name an embarrassing moment.”I was at my house, and I was about seven or eight-years-old. My friend called me over to his house to play video games. I put on my shoes and ran to his house. On the way, I noticed it was cold, but didn’t think much of it. I got to his house and rang the door bell. I waited for them to open the door, looked down, and saw that I was in my underwear! I ran back home faster than I had ever ran before.”
What’s something weird or unique that has happened to you?”Random stuff happens to me. Like one time, a mom was getting mad at her little girl outside H-E-B. The little girl was about four years old. Well, I passed by as I headed to my car, when the little girl took her anger out on me and cussed me out for no apparent reason.”
Do you have a celebrity crush?”Angelina Jolie because she has awesome lips, and I like the way she seems. I like the fact that she has adopted children. I think she’s beautiful.”
How do you feel about the campus life?”It feels like a mature atmosphere. You can be relaxed and calm here. Also, the scenery and animal life, like the javalines and deer, make it a more unique place to study.”
What type of hobbies do you enjoy?”I like to play soccer. I’ve been playing guitar for seven years, and I also kill time by playing video games.”
What suggestions can you give to improve TAMIU?”The buildings are too far from the Student Center. We need a place closer by so we can have food and entertainment, so students can relax and not walk so far to get to the Student Center. Also, we need more restaurant choices on campus.”
What did you want to be when you were growing up?”I wanted to be a stuntman. I liked doing daredevil stuff when I was younger. I liked climbing trees and jumping around on rooftops and trampolines. I would fall off but never seemed to get hurt.”
Where do you see yourself in five years?”Probably working at a school or bank and living on my own somewhere out of town, but close to Laredo. Also, I want to open my own business, so I can support my future family. And in my wildest dreams, I would be married to a supermodel.”
