For those looking to vote during the primary elections, the last day to register is edging near.Feb. 1 is the deadline to register for the March 2nd ballot.Current reports show, despite the registration deadline being less than two weeks away, fewer than 100,000 Webb County residents registered.Just a friendly reminder: registration is free. All students, faculty, and staff interested in registering to vote, must be at least 18 years of age by the day of the elections to vote. Other requirements include U.S. citizenship and proof of Webb County residency.
