Joanna A. Amaya

My name is Joanna A. Amaya. I am 21 and born in Laredo, TX. I am pursuing my degree majoring in Communications with a minor in Dance.  In the long run (2 yrs) , I see myself fulfilling my goals in graduating with my bachelors and start working on my masters as well as having a good steady job with a pay I deserve to earn. I do expect to become a better writer, and be more alert of the society today and the things that go on in this world, as well as to improve my communication skills and become confident.  I am a passionate dancer who rather dances all day then do anything else. Day and night I’m practicing on any dance technique, if not at the studio, in class, or at home in my mind and dreams. When I dance, I dream. I tend to space out and not pay attention to my surroundings therefore helps my nerves when I perform. I can basically dance anything and everything even though I’m still lacking different types of dancing that I would like to learn in the future.
