Dec. 1 – Lubbock Christian defeated Texas A&M International, 77-61, on Thursday night at the Rip Griffin Center in Lubbock.
Jordan Hampton led LCU (5-1 overall) with 19 points. Senior Vanessa Villarreal led TAMIU with 24 points. Senior Jermina Tomlinson contributed 13 points and a team-high eight rebounds for the Dustdevils.
TAMIU (3-2) will take a two-week break before returning to action with a home game against former Red River Athletic Conference foe Houston Baptist on Saturday, Dec. 16. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. at the Kinesiology and Convocation Building.
Nov. 29 – Wayland Baptist defeated Texas A&M International, 69-58, on Tuesday night at Hutcherson Center in Plainview.
Katie Donaldson led WBU (5-2) with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Senior Jermina Tomlinson led TAMIU with 24 points and 10 rebounds. Junior Nicole Gipson contributed seven rebounds and five blocks for the Dustdevils.
