Virtual online diversity career fair
On Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010 the Office of Career services at Texas A&M International University held a Procter & Gamble Virtual Online Diversity Career Fair. The event took place at TAMIU's Office of Career Services' office at the Student Center in room 114 where students were able to register for the event. The PG Virtual Online Diversity Fair was open to all students and alumni for free. The purpose for the Procter & Gamble Virtual Online Diversity Career Fair was to provide a place where students had the opportunity to learn of available opportunities in the job market. Those who registered had the chance to talk, in "real time" with Gamble proctors and employees from different company locations. The company provided students, and those registered, with information such as consumer marketing, research and envelopment, finance and accounting, consumer marketing knowledge and so on. Students were also able to connect not only able to connect on a professional level but also on a culture level. Students and alumni who were registered for the event were able to submit their resumes as well.
