Letter to the Editor
The Bridge is the student newspaper of Texas A&M International University. The writing, articles, pictures, artwork, and layout are the responsibility of the staff, contributors, and editorial board of The Bridge and do not necessarily represent the views of the administration, faculty, staff, or students of TAMIU nor the Texas A&M System. Signed columns represent the opinions of the author(s) and do not necessarily represent the editorial position of The Bridge.
The Bridge encourages letters to the editor, but to be eligible for publication, the letters should specifically address an issue raised in a previous Bridge story or an issue of current interest to the university community.
Letters should be limited to 300 words or fewer, must be signed, and must include the writer’s telephone number and e-mail address. The Bridge will withhold the writer’s telephone number and, if the writer so requests, the e-mail address as well, but the writer’s name will be published unless the writer shows just cause for its being withheld.
The Bridge reserves the right to edit letters for length, clarity, grammar, and libel. In general, The Bridge does not guarantee publication of any material submitted for publication.
