We help our clients by driving the future of technology solutions and transformation within their organizations. Our Sales organization spans across all industries, technologies and geographies. This position will focus on North America and the Manufacturing, Energy, Government, Aerospace, Logistics and Transportation industries This role requires an analytical approach to understanding and surfacing client needs. Part analyst, consultant, client advocate and strategist, this role will be responsible for helping HCL understand the clients better to serve their needs. Candidates should be well versed in business analysis and assessment of client needs.

Role Description Responsible for engaging and educating stakeholders in HCL, working closely with client teams, and supporting the opportunities for Sales. This will involve vertical and horizontal account planning, collaborating on and delivering information to a variety of levels across the business.

Main areas of responsibility:

To understand HCL s business and relationship with the customers at board levels

Learn on how to build a strong sales pipeline and achieve portfolio diversification goals

Review sales performance against sales targets

Work closely with the manager or assigned staff member to complete all assigned tasks

Conduct research on vertical industries (Manufacturing, Energy, Government, Aerospace, Logistics and Transportation (MEGA-LT) and technologies

Conduct research or gather information through surveys and/or speaking directly with client and their staff

Understand the working of Request for Proposals (RFP) and Request for Information (RFI)

Attend and participate in meetings, workshops, events, and exhibitions (Once COVID restrictions are over)

Identify potential weaknesses and offering improvement suggestions

Create repository of learnings

Skills and Experience

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, and currently in Master s Program

Understanding of global outsourcing models

Ability to interact/communicate with cross functional/multi-cultural teams across multiple time zones

Knowledge of industry trends as applicable in the different industries and regions

Good Communication in English (Oral/Written). Any other language is added advantage

Readiness to travel as required

Preferred: Knowledge about the IT Industry

Preferred: Exposure towards B2B business development
