Feel Good Tunes
We all have bad days and off days, for college students the stress of school, studying, work, and balancing a social life can trigger such days. Perhaps you didn't do so well on a test you studied for or you didn't get the grade you expected on your paper, you feel frustrated and before you know it you're having an off day. Along with such days comes a bad mood. Bad moods may include headaches, avoiding others, and the general feeling of nothing going your way.
I have experienced my fair share of bad days, but I have found the number one way to change my bad mood into a good mood and therefore change the type of day I'm having. When I experience such days, I turn to music. I blast my favorite feel good tunes and instantly feel better. Now you may be thinking what are feel good tunes? Feel good tunes are songs that are upbeat, have catchy lyrics, and overall makes listeners feel happy and good. These types of songs can easily change your mood and make you forget all about not the so good things of your day.
Making playlists is an easy and convenient way to access your favorite songs, plus it's fast. I have a feel good tunes playlist on my iPod, so whenever I'm feeling down I can turn up the music and feel better. My feel good tunes playlist consists of modern songs, oldies, country and of course catchy pop songs. All the songs on the playlists are songs that I know very well, I'm able to sing along to and make me happy.
