February is at times referred to as the "month of love". It was only fitting that a movie such as "The Vow" be released this month. The release date of The Vow was February 10, 2012. The Vow's two main characters Paige and Leo are played by Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum, respectively. Married couple Paige and Leo are involved in a car accident that leaves Paige with severe memory loss. After Paige wakes up from a coma, she has forgotten things and does not know that she is married to Leo.

"The Vow" begins with happily married couple Paige and Leo coming out of a theater on a snowy day and taking off in their car. As they wait and talk a bit at a stop sign, a truck coming up behind them cannot brake in time, slides in the snow and hits their car from behind. The impact of the crash is so devastating that Paige goes through the front windshield head first. Both Paige and Leo are both injured and are taken to the hospital. We go on to know that Leo's injuries weren't as serious as Paige's.

With Leo by her side, Paige then wakes up from her coma and we learn that she has had some loss and was memory happy that her memory was helping. Paige did not know what had happened and thought that Leo is her doctor, not knowing he is actually her husband. She wakes up to being married to a complete stranger, having a strange relationship with her parents and may still have feelings for her ex-fiancé. It was as Paige was living the life she lived before meeting Leo.

Even though Paige had no idea who he was, Leo still loved her. Leo figured that he would have to make Paige fall in love with him all over again. Leo tries to win Paige's heart all over again by showing her the home video of the wedding and other things in effort to see if Paige's memory would come back. "The Vow" is a romantic movie and its release couldn't have come at a better time. It is a good movie that couples could go see for Valentine's Day.
