Men's Soccer Winning Streak
Texas A&M International University men's soccer team is on a three game winning streak since Sunday, Sept. 12. The team has scored a total of ten goals to maintain their winning status.
There has been a rain of goals from a total of seven players which include: João Bacchi, Jaime Cano, Alex De La Fuente, Luis Salas, Christian Salazar, Kristian Quintana, and Abel Villavicencio. Salas, Quintana, Villavicencio and Edgar Flores have two goals each under their belts.
TAMIU hopes the team continues to score the same way it did these past three games, not only to keep up with their winning streak but to also to sustain their 2-0 start in the conference league.
The team's next matches this weekend are at San Antonio and Austin, the opponents Incarnate Word and St. Edward's respectively. The following weekend however, the Dustdevils return home. The games will be Friday, Oct. 1st at 8 pm and Sunday, Oct. 3rd at 5 pm. Both games will be held at TAMIU's soccer field.
The Bridge would like to cordially invite everybody to attend the home games wearing their maroon shirts. Hopefully, the games are as entertaining and the goals keep on pouring.
Stay tuned to find out the outcomes of the matches, you might also catch a glimpse of yourself among the audience in our next weeks slide show.
