New to Campus Police
Texas A&M International University would like to welcome two new additions to TAMIU's Campus Police Department. Sergio Moreno joined the ranks of campus police as its newest lieutenant while Rausel A. Fonseca is its newest patrol officer.
Prior to joining TAMIU's campus police, Lieutenant Moreno has had 23 years worth of experience under the Laredo Police Department. During his time with the LPD, Lieutenant Moreno served under the Patrol Division, Gang Unit, Criminal Investigation Division, and Internal Affairs. He has also received an Feild Training Officer (FTO) and a Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) uniform. In addition, Lieutenant Moreno also spend some time with the Laredo Independent School District Police Department. While with the LISD Police Department he served as the FTO, a patrol officer, and as a background investigator.
Prior to joining TAMIU's campus police, Patrol Officer Rausel A. Fonseca served as a patrol officer with the Dilly Police Department for a year. Before his time as a patrol offier with Dilly Police Department, Patrol Officer Fonseca served as a reserved deputy constable.
Once again TAMIU would like to welcome Lieutenant Moreno and Patrol Officer Fonseco to TAMIU's Campus Police Depatment.
