Tennis Club Chick-Fil-A Sale
On Thursday, October 7, Texas A&M International University Tennis Club organized a Chick-Fil-A sale on the campus green. The sale stared at 10:00 a.m. where the club sold sandwiches, chips, and sodas.
Members of the Tennis Club held the fundraiser in order to raise money for the payment of tournament fee and personal expenses during the tournaments, such as hotels and meals. By organizing these events they are able to go out and represent the university.
David Gomez, president of the TAMIU Tennis Club added, "The Tennis Club is an organization of students that love to play tennis. Any student who shares the same passion for tennis is welcome to be part of this wonderful experience. There are no requirements to be part of the club other than to love tennis and have a minimum of experience playing tennis."
The TAMIU Tennis Club meets for practice twice a week on Tuesday and Thursdays from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Market Street Tennis Courts. For more information on how to become a member of the TAMIU Tennis Club, contact Gomez at david_go@dusty.tamiu.edu
