Tomorrow marks the beginning of Spirit Week at Texas A&M International University. One of the highlights of this week includes the second annual Mr. and Ms. TAMIU elections. This year, eight candidates are campaigning for the opportunity to represent the TAMIU community in campus and community events as the next Mr. and Ms. TAMIU. The candidates running for Mr. TAMIU include Carlos Diaz, Alejandro De la Fuente, Jonathan Gutierrez and Jose Ramon “J.R.” Lara. Meanwhile, the candidates running for Ms. TAMIU are Roxanne Saldana, Guadalupe “Lupita” Osoria, Claudia Samaniego, and Raquel Urrutia.
