Spirit Week 2012: Mr. and Ms. TAMIU

Tomorrow marks the beginning of Spirit Week at Texas A&M International University. One of the highlights of this week includes the second annual Mr. and Ms. TAMIU elections. This year, eight candidates are campaigning for the opportunity to represent the TAMIU community in campus and community events as the next Mr. and Ms. TAMIU. The candidates running for Mr. TAMIU include Carlos Diaz, Alejandro De la Fuente, Jonathan Gutierrez and Jose Ramon "J.R." Lara. Meanwhile, the candidates running for Ms. TAMIU are Roxanne Saldana, Guadalupe "Lupita" Osoria, Claudia Samaniego, and Raquel Urrutia.
The Bridge invited all candidates to express their mission statements if elected as the next Mr. and Ms. TAMIU. For more information on the candidates statements, please visit the Campus News section of our website.
Students may vote from January 30-February 1,2012 at onecard.tamiu.edu.
