The death of Osama Bin Laden sent a wide array of emotional shock around the world. Now it seems that a video game developer has created a game level that simulates the compound Osama Bin Laden was  discover in Abbottabad, Pakistan. The level is basically the player entering the compound and performing the task of killing Osama Bin Laden. The game is called "Counter Strike: Source," and several thousand gamers have downloaded the level. Now several people argue that this is in poor taste, however, the developer argues otherwise.

Now the future of our country's security is still uncertain, yet we must understand that games like this are not helping our country in any way, shape, or form. We must still exercise caution during the aftermath of Bin Laden's death. Despite the fact that it is just a game, this simply shows the countries of the world an aspect less that desirable as Americans. We need to show the countries of the world that the task we had been trying to perform for so long is finally finished and that we must assess the other tasks placed in front of us. The man, who developed this level, is an independent game developer and goes by the name of Fletch.

Fletch wrote on Monday on this subject via customization site, GameBanana.  He writes "I can see how people would think it is in bad taste, but honestly if that's your opinion you may as well protest the whole game (as well as many others)." This all comes from the popular news site, the Huffington Post. Fletch is not the only one to partake in Bin Laden's death. Another set of developers created an episode titled "Kuma War II" in which you can choose to be Navy Seals and have a mission to kill Bin Laden or be Bin Laden's guards and defend him. Now it is unclear what people will choose, to defend or to kill, however, it just goes to show how much people will want to profit on a terrorist's and mass murderer's death.

Justice has been served and our country's security hangs in the balance as such. It should be appropriate to wait a certain amount of time before capitalizing on someone's death. Yet, I understand why people do the things that they do. I simply hope that no one will be harmed as these games are out there. I only hope for the safety of our country and all those fighting for us overseas.

The future is unclear for our country. Until we have some sort of confirmation that we are not going to be harmed we should exercise caution in the things that we do. Justice was served for our country and those harmed by this man, now let us move on and focus on bringing our brave men and women fighting overseas home. We are blessed to have so many things in our lives and those hurt by 9/11 are finally appeased. Let's have our country move on from this and move on to other tasks that need to be completed.

There has already been too much bloodshed over this issue and now that we have had our justice it should be time to move on from this. The fact that it is only just game does not matter to those, who watch our country meticulously. If there is any mistake on our part, you can be sure that those, who are not in our favor, will react accordingly.
