Mr. TAMIU Candidate: Carlos Diaz
If elected Mr. Texas A&M International University I intend to represent the entire university in a fulfilling and respectful manner. I promise to keep my word to the community and offer prosperous change regarding the future of the university. My projects, plans, and goals are intended to promote school spirit & integrity for the entire student-body and faculty of TAMIU. I have never been known as the type of person to back off my goals and I do not intended to start this habit anytime soon. Mr. TAMIU is an exemplary character in the community, fully comprehensive of his rank and responsible for all of his actions. The purpose which I believe Mr. TAMIU is intended to serve is so that if any person wishes to know about TAMIU whether it maybe it's students, faculty and staff they are all properly represented by one ideal character. Throughout my collegiate life TAMIU has granted me with so many opportunities and experiences, all of which have helped me acquire the proper resources and tools to carry out the task of being Mr. TAMIU.
If elected Mr. TAMIU I shall promote student involvement across the entire Dust-Devil country and apply my undivided attention to all matters regarding TAMIU. With the honorary title granted upon me and all of the responsibilities I fully understand that I will no longer have the same amount of freedom to do as I wish, but I do not see this as a sacrifice that one must endure, instead it is an honor and privilege for one to be honored with such a prideful position. I am a proud Dust Devil and the amount of spirit I portray on a daily basis should not be seen as an outcast trying to grasp attention, on the contrary it should be understood as the love that I have for TAMIU. For many, TAMIU is their home away from home where each and every student becomes a family and creates life-time bonds and this is the message which I intend to get across every member of the university. Now with all that being said, I am confident that I am the most fitted candidate for such position and if elected I shall always remain humble to my community, Dust'em Devils!
