New Study Rooms at TAMIU
Well here they are, the new study rooms at Texas A&M International University. It was quite the wait, but it was worth it. New study rooms are finally available and ready to be used in the Killam Library. Not only are there new study rooms, but more study tables in the hall outside of the study rooms. Students will be pleased to enjoy having more places to take group meetings or to simply study in peace and quiet.
There are 11 new study rooms on the third floor of Killam Library. With these new study rooms students will now have more accessibility to study in peace and quiet or be able to converse in a group without disturbing others. The 11 new study rooms, in addition to the previous ones, make a total of 15 study rooms on the third floor. The new study rooms are spacious with long tables and long white boards. They are perfect for group meetings or spacing out your notes when studying for a big exam.
The new study rooms offer a place outside and away from the view of many. It is very easy to get there. The new study rooms are located on the third floor of Killam Library to the left of the elevator,s or the staircase next to the elevators, for those who love to burn calories on the way to study.
According to one student, Victoria Diaz, a communication disorder major, "They're a great addition to the school and it's something that we've been needing for a while. Because we have such a large population here at TAMIU." She goes on to say that, "It seems that enrollment every year is increasing and for a population as big as that, four study rooms seem too little." She later expresses the fact that as a student, who like to study in silence, she really appreciates the study rooms and feels as though she will become an even better student.
These new study rooms at Texas A&M International Universityare ready to be used. Students at TAMIU should really take a part in trying them out and making sure that they take care of them. This is an amazing new addition to TAMIU and I'm sure that the students will appreciate using them. These spacious new study rooms offer a space for tranquility and academic behavior. The addition of the new study rooms will allow students to be able to enjoy a quiet and spacious environment.
